ASIS International and ASIS Cleveland are committed to providing members with information, services, and a forum that assists them in their vital security roles and with their careers. This is a community of security professionals, and an important one. Since September 11th the provision of security and safety has taken on new dimensions, and become more critical than ever before. By serving members through education, events, information, networks, meetings, and contacts, their constituencies are therefore served, whether these are employees, employers, customers, patients, students, the public - whatever their constituencies might be. Security evolves and changes, and keeping out on the leading edge of providing security, safety, and peace of mind is where our members' interests lie as security professionals. "Advancing Security in Northeast Ohio" is a mission.

ASIS: The
Faces of Security Today History Of ASIS ASIS International (ASIS) is the largest organization for security professionals, with more than 35,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, governmental entities, and the public. By providing members and the security community with access to a full range of programs and services, and by publishing the industry's number one magazine - Security Management - ASIS leads the way for advanced and improved security performance. Join ASIS To become a member of the ASIS CLEVELAND CHAPTER you must first become a member of ASIS International. After being accepted by ASIS International, return to this website and go to: PAY LOCAL DUES. Download the invoice and pay by check or credit card. Chapter members:
On the application, for chapter assignment, put: Cleveland Chapter 023. There are two ways to apply for membership: Use the links below to apply for membership online through the ASIS Store or complete a PDF version of the membership application and mail or fax your application. Note: Membership approval takes approximately one week. (Current members only: Renew your membership online today!) Classes of Membership https://www.asisonline.org/store/membership.html Member: Professional in an executive, managerial, supervisory, or responsible charge position who is primarily responsible for the security function of their organization. Associate: Individual with professional interest in security, seeking the educational benefits provided by membership in ASIS. Student Member: Full-time student actively pursuing a
security-related degree. Student membership is not available to those
who would otherwise qualify for Member or Associate status.

ASIS International, with more than 35,000 members, is the preeminent
international organization for professionals responsible for security,
including managers and directors of security. In addition, corporate
executives and other management personnel, as well as consultants,
architects, attorneys, and federal, state, and local law enforcement,

changes in security issues and solutions.
